We are the Aviation and Combined Services Lodge 8504.
Founded to ‘tend to the Masonic needs of brethren and gentlemen who have in the past served, or are presently serving Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second…, …in the Armed Forces of the Realm, and particularly those engaged in aviation in all its forms, especially in the Gatwick area’
We are one of the largest and most vibrant Masonic Lodges in the area, situated in Horsham, an area where many who work in aviation at both Heathrow and Gatwick airports choose to live and raise their families, we now draw our membership from far and wide, from Sussex and internationally.
Although we have many valued members from all walks of life, the core of our membership is still found from within aviation, both on the ground and in the air, and from across the armed forces community. With strong current representation from former Army, Navy and Royal Air Force veterans.
As you might expect from our membership, in addition to our Masonic work supporting Sussex communities and the charities of our choice, we have an active social side, making new friends and building close relationships locally and internationally.
If you work in aviation, are former or serving military, or just live in the area and are looking to explore what Freemasonry can offer you, building new friendships whilst supporting Sussex communities in an organisation that has been a part of the Sussex community since 1696…you’re in the right place.
Come and join us.
